November 12th- December 17th. Thursdays 7-9pm. (no class on the 26th)
This class is meant to give students an understanding of how the approach to painting a portrait can result in various outcomes. By breaking down the human form both abstractly and structurally to give various angles to build a compelling portrait.
The class will be conducted over a two hour Zoom session. This means most classes will be compiled mostly of lectures and demonstrations, with homework in between classes. At least two corrections are offered to participating students. This is done through a digital paint program. All students will need to do is take a photo of their work and email it in for review.
